I came across these articles in the New York Times this morning, as I was doing my morning online newspaper browsing.
I love how the author, Amy Baker, combines practical, helpful tips and reminds us how good it feels to be helpful, and for those times when we are need, that friends and family truly do want to help you.

Magic Central
My friend Brendon encouraged me to post again. :)
Here's one about a man who was born with a bone disorder, but is otherwise completely fine intellectually. He was picked on by the kids in his school, but a cool, new principal came to his school and started teaching him---magic tricks.
Now he's a professional magician and owns his own magic store:

Amazing.
